We generally recommend starting with very few system-specific modules - or none at all. It is usually best to get familiar with what the base system offers first, which also helps keep things stable and minimizes potential bugs.
Once you’re comfortable, you might find you’re missing a specific feature or want to tweak how something works. That is the perfect time to start looking at optional modules. While we don’t officially "recommend" a specific list, the system does have built-in support for Dice So Nice. We included this because Daggerheart’s duality rolls are unique, and this integration helps handle those roll effects and customizations more smoothly.
If you are looking for more functionality, you can browse the #module-support forum on our Discord or search for "Daggerheart" or "Foundryborne" in the Foundry VTT module installer. Just keep in mind that some modules require a manual manifest installation.
The system is feature-complete within the bounds of the license, but we are always open to feedback. If you think a core feature is missing or isn't working quite right, please feel free to submit a Feature Request on our GitHub page!
