This is a generic Character Sheet for a Level 1 Character that just finished the character creation process.
The Character Sheet is split into two parts, the sidebar on the left, and the main character sheet part on the right.
Sidebar
Let's first go through the Sidebar:
In the top you can see your characters portrait. You can change it by simply clicking on it, and selecting a new one from the file browser.
Some characters have a small magic wand icon overlaid over their portrait:
This indicates, that the character has a Spellcast Trait. If you hover over it, you can see which trait this character uses for spellcasting:
You can see all character traits in the next section for the main panel.
Under your characters portrait you can see the current and maximum value for HP, Stress, Proficiency, Armor Slots, Evasion, as well as the Damage Thresholds:
You can manually add or remove HP, Stress or Armor slots by clicking on the left value (current value) and entering a new one.
Remember: In Daggerheart, having 0 HP and Stress is good! The fuller each bar, the worse things are for your character.
Just below the Damage Threshold display you will find your characters Equipment:
It contains of the Armor, as well as weapons. You can unequip them by clicking on the shield or hand icons, or send them to chat with the chat bubble icon.
Below that you will find the Loadout section, where you will see all your active domain cards. Cards currently in the vault are not displayed here.
The downwards arrow icon will send the card to the Vault, while the chat bubble icon will post the card in chat. To use any of the abilities or spells in your loadout just click the dice icon that appears when you hover over the domain cards icon on the left side:
For some spells and abilities this will open a popup window to make further selections:
And the last entry in the sidebar are your experiences. You can use the chat bubble icon to send them to chat as well.
Main Section
The Main section of the character sheet (everything to the right of the sidebar) is also split in two sections. On top we have the header section, and on the bottom we have the contents section. Let's go through both of them:
Header
In the Header you can see a lot of Infos about your character:
Firstly it has your Characters Name. You can change it, by clicking into the field when you hover over it.
To the right of that, you will see your characters current Level.
If you are creating a new character, it will display Level 0 and show a levelup button in front of it. Your character should always be at least Level 1 when starting a game.
To level up your character just hover over your current level, and then change the number to the desired level. Please read more about the character creation and level-up process on their wiki pages.
Below your Characters name you will see the choices you made during character creation: Your class, subclass, community and ancestry:
Next up we have the Hope Display, the Domains your character uses, as well as the short rest and long rest buttons:
For the Hope display you can simply click one of the slots to mark/unmark it. The domains are just listed for reference. The short rest and long rest buttons are discussed in the downtime moves section of this wiki.
Next you will find your characters traits:
these are Agility, Strength, Finesse, Insight, Presence, and Knowledge.
If you hover over them you can see a short description of what they are used for.
You can click any trait to make a roll with that trait:
For more info, please check the dice rolling page of this wiki.
The last part of the header section is the tab bar:
We will go through each of the sections next. The settings button on the right side of the tab bar lets you make manual adjustments to your characters traits, hit points, stress, hope, proficiency, evasion, and experiences, in case that is ever needed.
