Your character sheet has two buttons for downtime actions.
## Short Rest

when using the short rest button you get a selection of short rest options presented. The type and amount of available options depend on what the GM has set up in advance and your ancestry, community, and class choices. By default two options from the standard Daggerheart options are available (depending on character options):

When you click an option it gets highlighted and 1 gets added next to it:

Right-clicking an option allows you to deselect it to make a different choice. You can also select the same option twice:

When you click the _Take Downtime_ button your options will be sent to chat, where dice rolls will be made as well, if any of the selected options require one.
## Long Rest
The Long Rest downtime works the same as the Short Rest, it just has different options available:
